Where will your donations go?
Stage 0 - The founding phase
During the founding stage. All time, energy and funds were contributed by the founder and the initial board members.
Stage 1 - The Pop-up phase
Before we have a physical home, Cool Note will be performing "pop-up" events. During phase one, any donations made to Cool Note will first be used to cover the ongoing infrastructure of the Foundation. At this time these expenses are minor and include the Website, State / Government Fees, and other administrative costs. Once the bills have been paid, further donations will be combined placed in Certificates of Deposit until such a time that there are sufficient funds to either begin stage 2 or 3.
Stage 2 - Find / Rent / Lease a space
During this phase, Cool Note will use any donations (beyond ongoing infrastructure maintenance) to rent or lease semi-permanent space (unless earmarked by the donor for a specific purpose). In the unlikely event that a permanent home can be purchased earlier than expected, Stage 2 may be skipped entirely to the much preferred third stage.
Stage 3 - Own a space
During this phase, funds will provide a permanent home to the foundation, owned by the foundation. Furthermore, new funds will be used at this phase to maintain both the physical infrastructure and the operating expenses of Cool Note. It is the dream of the founder for the Cool Note Foundation to have it's own stable space that is not subject to the whims of an outside landlord. Pop-up events may continue even after the permanent home has set down roots.
Stage 4 - Perpetuity
The dream and ultimate goal of the founder is for the Cool Note Foundation is to live on in perpetuity. During this last phase, donations collected (that are beyond maintenance) will continue to build a fund that will be invested in certificates of deposit and other safe instruments. The proceeds of which will be used to keep the foundation and it's infrastructure and property maintained. In this final and stable phase, it may become necessary for the foundation to hire an employee at a reasonable wage in order to aid in operation. These wages shall only be for actual work performed. No active board member shall receive a wage.

We are actively seeking locations for pop-up events. Do you have a space that could host a pop-up?
Media and Hardware
We are looking to expand the music selection. Do you have media, such as Records or CDs that you would be interested in donating to the foundation? Consider donating HiFi gear that might be fit our niche.
Time
We are an all volunteer operation. Do you have some time that you would be willing to part of this project?
